Finished your manuscript, or ready to finish the story you have wanted to write? Kwakorti helps you shape the work, refine the language and create a book that feels like yours.
Begin with the stage you are at. Your proposal sets out the work, deliverables, revisions, cost and timing before we start.
01
Find the shape
A manuscript assessment identifies what is working and what needs attention. If your story is still taking shape, we can discuss structure and a plan for completing it.
02
Refine your voice
Agree the right level of editing: structure and development, sentence-level clarity, copyediting or final proofreading. The aim is a stronger book that still sounds like you.
03
Give it a form
Cover and interior design, readable typography and considered use of photographs. Add a personal handwriting font if it serves the book.
04
Prepare it for the world
Review a proof before production. We can coordinate print quotations and discuss ISBN and publication requirements, with distribution and promotion scoped separately.
THE FINISH IS PERSONAL
Choose your edition.
CLASSIC LEGACY
Timeless on the page.
Traditional typography, a thoughtful cover and your own story at the centre. Add photographs, a reproduced original note or a personal dedication where suitable.
No custom font required. A simpler production scope, with the same attention to your words.
IN YOUR HAND
Recognisably yours.
Turn your handwriting into a private digital font and use it for the details that carry your presence: a dedication, chapter title, quotation or personal letter.
Long passages or an entire handwritten-style book are possible by agreement, after a readability proof at the intended print size.
PEOPLE BEHIND THE PAGES
Words are personal. So is the partnership.
George · Lead editor
George leads the editorial work, helping you find the shape of the story and refine the manuscript while preserving your voice.
Tony · Your first conversation
Tony helps define your project and coordinate the next step. Kwakorti operates through INDIE, the registered business responsible for quotations and invoicing.
We quote after understanding the word count, manuscript condition, level of editing, design and print specification. Editing, design, font creation, printing, delivery and any distribution work are itemised so you can choose a sensible scope.
Can I come with an unfinished manuscript?
Yes. Start with an outline or a description of your idea. We will discuss whether a manuscript assessment, structural edit or writing plan is the right first step. Interviewing and ghostwriting, if needed, require a separate scope.
Will you change the way I sound?
Good editing makes your meaning clearer while respecting your voice. Editorial changes are reviewed with you, and you approve the final text and design before production.
Who owns the book and font?
Your agreement sets out manuscript rights, font rights, source-file delivery and permitted use. Personal fonts are private commissions and are not offered for public resale without a separate agreement. Any third-party material must have the appropriate permissions.
Does publishing include bookshop sales?
Printing and publication preparation do not guarantee distribution or sales. Bookshop placement, online listings, marketing and fulfilment are agreed separately when required.
